LaSaia Wade brings intersectionality to the public as she organizes protests, speeches, and rallies for transgender rights.

We are a team of students from Columbia College Chicago, assembled from across various years and majors. We came together to shed light on something we're passionate about— intersectional feminism in Chicago.

Four-Star Feminists is a profile gallery showcasing six Chicagoland feminists making intersectionality a priority. Intersectionality, as it relates to feminism, recognizes that many people experience multi-faceted discrimination, as related to race, gender, sexuality, etc. As the current administration dismantles LGBTQ+ protections, intersectional feminists are more important now than ever.
